This year’s preconference training program focused on new new “best practices” for handling complex conciliation issues, with a special focus on power imbalances, abuse and trauma. We also discussed ways to improve intake and screening processes, how to handle conflicts involving political, racial, healthcare and divorce, as well as confidentiality clauses, non-disclosure agreements and professional grievance processes.
