Rick Stein has served as the National Director for the Alliance Peacemaking ministry of the Christian & Missionary Alliance since 2015. His work in the C&MA focuses on church conflict mediations and training and equipping mediators and conflict coaches for service in the denomination. Prior to his current service, he was a private attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and instructor, both in the legal system and the church. His service on church governing boards and as an elder also equipped him for the specialized considerations in matters affecting churches.
Rick has been a Christian Mediator/Coach since 1995 and was Coordinator of the Peacemaker Ministry at Salem Alliance Church, Salem, Oregon from 2001–2018.
Rick graduated from Willamette University with a B.A. in 1972 and Willamette University, College of Law, with a J.D. in 1975. He is married to Clover, and they have four grown children—Cristy, Matt, Jenny, and Amy.
