Peacemaking for Kids and Young People
How many times have we taught peacemaking to adults, only for them to say with sadness “I wish I’d known this 10 or 20 years ago. It could have saved my marriage, my church, my friendship, my job etc”. What if there was a whole new, dynamic, comprehensive and fun way to teach the principles and skills of biblical peacemaking to children of all ages? What if it used the internet, stunning videos, quizzes, in class activities and more? 15 years ago, a Christian ministry had a vision to create this very thing. And now it’s finished!- it’s called PeaceWiseKids and PeaceWiseYouth, and covers from Kindergarten to end of school. And it’s designed to change our world, by building peacemaking into the very DNA of our children. It’s been created by PeaceWise from Australia and builds on the earlier pioneering work of Ken and Corlette Sande. This workshop will show what it is, what it looks like and how it can be used in Christian schools, churches and families.
