If you are studying RW360’s “faith-based” course, Discovering Wisdom 3.0, you can learn about a “values-based” approach to relational wisdom by downloading the following content from lesson 4 of our alternative course, Exploring Relational Wisdom 3.0.
Our values-based course is designed for use in secular settings. Therefore, rather than focusing directly on “God-awareness” and “God-engagement,” the course guides people through a process of evaluating a variety of worldviews as well as their personal value systems. This process provides multiple opportunities for students to learn about a Christian worldview and value system, leading to an explanation of the gospel itself.
The values-based course is built around a modified RW paradigm, which includes these two skills:
Values-awareness is your ability to honestly identify your true personal values.
Values-engagement is your ability to consistently apply your values in real life.
The following resources explain the worldview of values-based relational wisdom. We strongly recommend that Christians go through these materials to clarify their own worldview and evaluate whether they are consistently living out a Christian value system.
