Scott Risley

Scott brings more than two decades of teaching experience in both academic and ministry contexts. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at The Ohio State University, where he also taught computer science courses during graduate school, and later earned a master’s degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

For the past 25 years, Scott has taught the Bible with a focus on helping people integrate biblical truth into everyday life. Throughout his ministry, he has given increasing emphasis to peacemaking, conflict engagement, and relational wisdom – equipping people with practical skills for navigating their most important relationships. He has taught in a wide range of settings, from small groups and workshops to large gatherings of 600+ participants.

Scott currently serves as a pastor at Dwell Community Church in Columbus, Ohio, where he teaches, mentors leaders, and helps individuals and families navigate relational challenges with grace and wisdom. He and his wife have two children.
